Girl student dies while taking selfie on Puri-Barbil Express train

A tragic accident claimed the life of a young girl student who fell from a moving train while attempting to take a selfie in Odisha’s Keonjhar district. The incident occurred aboard the Puri-Barbil Express between the Tangiriapal and Sagadapata railway stations on Friday. 

The victim, a resident of Dalang



village, was studying at a private college in Bhubaneswar. She was reportedly travelling home with friends when the fatal accident took place.

Following the incident, railway officials recovered the body and have initiated an investigation to gather more details about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
