Today is the last day of the Global Investors Summit in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this two-day conference yesterday.
Over 500 prominent industrialists and delegates from over 65 nations are attending the summit.
Discussions with investors will take place in 9 distinct sessions today, the second day of the conference, to encourage more industrial investment in Madhya Pradesh. During these sessions, information will be provided regarding advantages in the various sectors in Madhya Pradesh.
The main
topics of discussion in these meetings will be the contribution of Madhya Pradesh in India's $5 trillion economy, the state's welcoming environment for start-up businesses, its potential in the fields of aerospace and defence, its role in accelerating India's manufacturing sector, education and skill development.
The Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan held separate meetings with investors on the first day of the conference to discuss the potential for investment in the state's energy, tourism, start-up, IT, oil, and natural gas sectors.
