External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar yesterday said the government is committed to working for the development of tribal communities. Speaking at a tribal art exhibition in New Delhi organized by the National Tiger Conservation Authority and Sankala Foundation, the Minister said the Centre is committed to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, with a focus on uplifting marginalized communities, especially tribal populations. 

He highlighted that the exhibition showcases



how people can exist with nature in complete harmony. He added that tribal communities have forged enduring bonds with nature for centuries. He said that the exhibition displays the ethos of environmental conservation, sustainability, and living in harmony with nature. The External Affairs Minister said Project Tiger has been a shining example of success and elaborated that tribal communities deserve immense credit for this achievement.
