Governor of Manipur, CM N. Biren Singh Condemns shameful incident , assures punishment for perpetrators

Condemning the incident, the Governor of Manipur Anusuiya Uikey said that such a shameful incident is a matter of stigma for the civilised society. The Governor directed Police Department to take up immediate steps to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crime to book and award exemplary punishment as per law.

N. Biren Singh also assured of capital punishment for the perpetrators of this incident.

Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh and Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee also condemned the incident and both the political parties demanded to deliver justice to the victims at the earliest.
