Govt Distributes Over 2.35 Crore Property Cards Under SVAMITVA Scheme

The government has said that over two crores thirty-five lakh property cards have been distributed across one lakh fifty-nine thousand villages under the Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) scheme so far.

SP Singh Baghel, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has himself overseen the e-distribution of sixty-five lakh cards across fifty-two thousand villages in various states and UTs on the 18th of last month. The minister further said that drone surveys of about three lakh eighteen thousand villages have been completed.
