Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh has said that the government has kept a sensitive concern for elder citizens and women in its series of pension reforms. Chairing the 33rd Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies meeting in New Delhi on Thursday, Mr Singh said that the Department of Pension is constantly formulating policies to ensure a dignified life and ease of living for



women. 

The Minister also presided over the 10th Nation-wide Pension Adalat. The forum covered pensioner grievances of 12 Ministries and Departments with 60 percent of them resolved on the spot. Mr Singh said that redressal of Pensioners Grievances is a high priority for the Government. He added that Pension Adalats are organized for the speedy resolution of the pensioners’ grievances.
