Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan yesterday said, the government has taken action against 18 OTT platforms so far. 

Responding supplementaries in Rajya Sabha yesterday on digital piracy on OTT platforms, Mr Murugan said, guidelines are already in place to



monitor the OTT contents. He said the government has no control over the authentication of age appropriate contents in the OTT platforms. The Minister said, self-certification has been put in place for the content classification along with parental guidance.
