Government has sanctioned over 1,532 crore rupees for upgradation of National Highway projects in Gujarat. In a social media post, Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said the approval has been given for widening of 12.4 kilometer long Dhrol to Amaran section of National Highway in Morbi district of Gujarat. He said, the approval has also been given for construction of additional structures including pipelines in 15 kilometer long stretch of



Vadodara-Surat section on National Highway in Bharuch and Surat districts of Gujarat.

Mr Gadkari said, government has sanctioned over 936 crore rupees for construction of ten kilometer long four-lane elevated corridor on Kalimandir-Dimna Chowk-Baliguma section of National Highway in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He said, the project will enhance safety and reduce congestion in the city of Jamshedpur.
