Govt simplified Patents regime for Start-ups: Piyush Goyal

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal said that Government has simplified the Patents regime for Start-ups and MSMEs among others to encourage innovation.

He assured that Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade will extend all support to new and emerging enterprises in the Biotechnology

Mr. Goyal was addressing the gathering after giving away Awards at the Global Bio-India Summit, 2019 in New Delhi yesterday. Calling upon academia, industry and government to come together, he said, sustainability will be the fulcrum for innovation.
