Grenade Attack Kills One Civilian in J&K's Srinagar

One civilian was killed and two others were injured after a grenade attack at Srinagar's Jehangir Chowk on Thursday.

"Some miscreant tried to throw a grenade on the deployment but reportedly it exploded close to him and he [miscreant] has been injured," SSP



Srinagar said.

Suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a police station in Shopian which failed to explode earlier on Wednesday. The police added that an FIR has been lodged in the case and an investigation is underway.
