GST introduced to create one tax regime

Central government has introduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to bring in the one nation, one tax, one market regime. The aim was to benefit all stakeholders including businesses, the government and



consumers. 

Panaji-based small business owner Manguirish Pai Raikar, who runs a manufacturing unit for packaging material in North Goa’s Corlim Industrial Estate, talks about the transformative experience under the new tax regime.
