Gujarat civic polls: BJP claims to have won 219 seats

In Gujarat, the ruling BJP yesterday announced it has won 219 seats of municipalities, taluka and district panchayats, unopposed before the election. The party made the announcement  yesterday on the last date of withdrawal of nominations.

     



 

The party claimed to have won 24 District Panchayat seats, 110 Taluka Panchayat seats and 85 municipality seats unopposed. The election for municipality, district and taluka panchayat are to be held on 28th of this month.
