Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani receives Swarnim Vijay Mashal at Sabarmati Riverfront

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has received Swarnim Vijay Mashal at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad last evening.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off four Swarnim Vijay Mashals to four different directions of the country on 16th of December last year to mark the India’s victory in 1971 war.

 

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Rupani said that the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War was a



symbol of sacrifices and dedication of Indian soldiers.

 

Gujarat Governor Achrya Devvrat felicitated ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen of the 1971 war on this occasion.

 

He said that country will never forget the heroic fight by the Indian Army.

 

The patriotic songs and music was played by Army Band on this occasion.
