Gujarat court convicts self-styled godman Asaram Bapu in rape case

Gandhinagar: In Gujarat, Session’s court in Gandhinagar on Monday convicted self-styled godman Asaram Bapu in a rape case. Sessions court judge DK Soni will pronounce the quantum of the sentence on

Tuesday.

The court acquitted six other accused, including Asaram's wife, due to the lack of evidence. Asaram was accused of a rape case registered against him in 2013.
