Gujarat government has signed around 130 MoUs with investment commitments worth over 56,000 crore rupees in various sectors on the first day of the three-day Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
Officials at a press meet said that a majority of the MoUs were signed in the port and transport sectors.
China-based Tsingshan
group has committed to invest 21,000 crore rupees to set up a steel plant and a facility to manufacture car batteries.
Besides this mega agreement, MoUs worth over 35,000 crore rupees were also signed during the opening day of the three-day business conclave.
