Gunfight raged between terrorists and security forces in Baramulla dist, J&K

A gunfight has raged between terrorists and security forces in an area of Baramulla district early this evening.

Security sources said that joint forces launched cordon and search operation at Kalantara Kandi area of Baramulla district. 

They



said, as the forces zeroed in on the same place, the hiding terrorists opened fire triggering brief exchange of gunfire.

They said, the operation is underway in the area. There was no report of any fatal or non fatal casualties on either side so far.
