Harsh Vardhan Said COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Based on Election Process Planned to Booth Level

Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has said that the vaccination drive has been based on election process planned down to the booth level.

In a tweet this morning, he said, a humongous exercise to augment skilled personnel is underway. The Minister said, more than 57 thousand participants across 719 districts have completed training and 96 thousand vaccinators have been trained so far.

Dr Harsh Vardhan said, intricately designed vaccination centres to have separate waiting,



vaccinating and observation rooms. He said, five member team to cater 100 beneficiaries and there will be additional personnel for more beneficiaries.

Anaphylaxis kits will be provided to manage Adverse Events After Immunisation.

The Minister said, Co-WIN platform to facilitate, registration and verification of beneficiaries, scheduling inoculation, SMS reminders for schedule and follow on dosage, reporting Adverse Event Following Immunisation and e-Certificate post-vaccination.
