Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal will inaugurate the first mega food park at Roopangarh Village in Ajmer, Rajasthan today. The food park is being set up at a cost of over 113 crore rupees and will benefit around 25 thousand farmers in Ajmer as well as neighbouring districts.

An official release said, the mega food park will leverage an additional investment of about 250



crore rupees in 25 to 30 food processing units in the park. The park will also provide direct and indirect employment to five thousand persons. 

The modern infrastructure for food processing created at Park will benefit the farmers, growers, processors and consumers of Rajasthan and prove to be a big boost to the growth of the food processing sector in the State.
