Haryana govt increases disability pension of labourers

Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has increased the disability pension of labourers from Rs 300 to Rs 3,000. 

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nayab Singh Saini said this while interacting with media persons at Chandigarh. He said the increase would provide



relief to labourers who became physically disabled due to accidents. 

He said the Board has also increased the amount given on the basis of disability from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 3 lakh for registered construction workers who become disabled due to an accident while at work.
