Uttar Pradesh police are conducting search operations at Ram Kutir Charitable Trust in Mainpuri district last night in search of ‘Bhole Baba’, who conducted the Satsang. Chief Minister Yogi Aadiyanath will visit Hathras today. A high-level committee has also been constituted to investigate the matter under the chairmanship of ADG Agra Zone, and a report will be submitted in 24 hours. 

Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh, Manoj Kumar Singh, and DGP UP, Prashant Kumar, took stock of the trade in Hathras. The Chief Secretary informed us that permission for 8,000 people had been taken for this event while crowds in excess of these numbers had gathered. He



said that strict action would be taken against those found guilty.
 
Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar said that all things are under investigation, and we do not want to affect the process by jumping to conclusions. The matter will proceed based on the findings of the investigation. Ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured will be provided from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured.
