New Delhi: Health and Family Welfare Ministry and National Health Authority will organize a two-day event Arogya Manthan in New Delhi beginning today. The two-day event aims to celebrate the completion of five years of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and two years of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Union Health Ministry said the event will be filled with insightful discussions and deliberations on challenges, trends, and the best practices related to these schemes. The Ministry said the schemes aim to provide accessible, available, affordable, and scalable
healthcare to achieve the vision of universal health coverage in India.
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana has ensured good health for crores of poor and downtrodden families and also protected their families from catastrophic health care expenditure with five crores fifty lakhs free hospitalizations worth 69,000 crore rupees.
Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is an ambitious scheme of government aimed at creating a digital highway connecting different stakeholders of healthcare ecosystems.
