New Delhi: Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the key to India's development lies in its healthcare sector. He said this while inaugurating six new healthcare units today in AIIMS, New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the units, worth more than 700 crore rupees are a testament to India's growing impetus on healthcare.

Kendras and coverage under Ayushman Bharat has brought affordable and quality primary check-ups, treatment, and medicines to the poor in their cities.
He added that the number of government medical colleges increased to 710 and MBBS seats to one lakh 70 thousand, showing India's drive for Heal in India, Heal by India initiative. The Minister also said that the nation is on track to be TB-free by 2025.
