Heavy rain continues to lash Kerala as Cyclone Tauktae is nearing the State coast. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall with strong winds in Kerala till 16th of this month. Red has been issued in five districts.  Widespread Sea-erosions have been



reported in the coastal areas of the State. Electricity is disrupted in many places. People in coastal regions are being shifted to relief camps. District Control rooms have been opened. National and State Disaster Response Forces, Naval and Coast Guards are coordinating the relief measures.
