Heavy rain disrupts lives in Jaipur

In Rajasthan, the situation has worsened because of the continuous heavy rains since 4 pm yesterday in Jaipur city. Three to four feet of water is accumulated on the roads due to continuous rain in most areas of the city from last 5 to 6 hours.  There is traffic jam all over the city. Many low-lying areas of the city are



submerged. 

Water has also accumulated in Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium, where the state-level Independence Day function is to be organized on Thursday. The Weather Department has issued an alert of heavy rain today in many other districts including Jaipur
