The Meteorological
department bulletin issued a warning of heavy rain occurring at isolated places
in Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Mahbubnagar districts during the next two
days.
The bulletin said a
low pressure area is likely to form over the north-west Bay of Bengal in the
next 48 hours. The upper air cyclonic circulation over Rayalaseema and its
neighbourhood now lies over interior Karnataka and its neighbourhood and over
the east-central Bay and its neighbourhood above the
mean sea level.
The forecast said that under the influence of the trough from Odisha to south Tamil Nadu along and off the coastal part of Andhra Pradesh and the upper air cyclonic circulation, heavy rain is likely to occur on August 1.
Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are forecast at a few places in Telangana from July 31 to August 4. No major change in the weather outlook is expected in the next three days.
