Hemant Soren arrested by Enforcement Directorate

Hemant Soren, who resigned as Jharkhand Chief Minister, has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Earlier, he was questioned for over seven hours by the ED in a money laundering

case.

Soren was questioned as part of an investigation into a "huge racket of illegal change of land ownership by the mafia" in Jharkhand, according to officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
