The high-speed Talgo train’s arrival was delayed on Tuesday morning in Mumbai due to heavy rain in Palghar district of Maharashtra and Gujarat. A two-hour delay was reported on its first full-fledged trial run. “Effective trial of Talgo train has been conducted successfully between Delhi & Surat. Train arrived at Surat right on time. Further due to temporary disruption in track due to washout after heavy rain in Vapi-Bhilad section, it got delayed.
Further, 2-3 more trials will be carried out between Delhi-Mumbai in the coming days.
