Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Presents Budget of ₹58,514 Crore

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presented the general budget of Rs 58,514 crore for the financial year 2025-26 in the Assembly on Monday. The budget does not include any new taxes. The Chief Minister announced nearly a dozen new schemes in the budget. In his budget speech,



the Chief Minister also announced the recruitment of 25,000 positions across various departments during the year. 

Additionally, the MLA priority fund limit has been increased from Rs 195 crore to Rs 200 crore.
