The higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received a fresh bout of snow yesterday, while sporadic rains have aggravated cold conditions in the plains.
Fog also caused travel disruptions in some parts of the plains, where temperatures dipped due to overcast skies.In Himachal Pradesh, higher reaches including Shimla, Kufri and Narkanda experienced fresh snowfall
yesterday, with lower districts receiving intermittent rain.
The Kashmir Valley is also reeling under frigid conditions, with the MeT department predicting more snowfall or rain.
In Delhi, lights rain lashed several parts yesterday bringing the mercury down. Many parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan also received light showers.
