Himachal Pradesh: Filing of nominations to end today for Assembly elections in state

The filing of nominations will end today for Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. The state will go to polls on November 12 to elect a new assembly. Today, there will be a rush of candidates to file nominations as many candidates are yet to file their nominations.

255 candidates have already filed their nominations for 68 member assembly.

Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on October 27, while October 29 is the last date for withdrawal of candidature.
