Hizbul Commander killed in encounter in Kupwara, J&K

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a Hizbul Mujahideen Commander was killed by the joint team of security forces in a nocturnal encounter that broke put in Pazipora village of Renan area of Kralgund, Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district.

 

According to Police, one of the oldest and top Commander of Hizbul Mujahideen



terror outfit Mehrajuddin Halwai got neutralised in the operation.

 

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar has termed this as a big success for the security forces as the HM Commander was involved in several terror crimes.
