Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reiterated the importance of technology in intelligence generation. The Home Minister said, monitoring of terror-financing, tightening grip over Narco-terror cases and dismantling entire terror ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir are priority of the Narendra Modi government.
Chairing High Level meetings to review security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi yesterday, the Home Minister also directed all security agencies to remain alert and continue working in a synergistic mode to eliminate terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Home Minister reviewed the winter action plan of CRPF and directed to
ensure there are no gaps in area domination. He directed CRPF to continue with the synergy with Indian Army and J&K Police.
The Home Minister also reviewed the intelligence apparatus working in Jammu and Kashmir and directed to increase coverage and penetration to generate quality intelligence. Union Home Secretary, IB Director, Director Generals of Central Reserve Police Force and Border Security Force and other senior officers attended the meetings.
The meetings were in continuation to the recently held High Level Meetings with Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
