Home Minister Amit Shah rules out talks with Pakistan over Kashmir

Baramulla: Union home minister Amit Shah has ruled out talks with Pakistan over the Kashmir issue. Addressing a rally in Baramulla, Mr. Shah asserted that the Narendra Modi government will wipe out terrorism from the region and there will be no dialogue with Pakistan. 

Home Minister said, he wants to talk to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and not with Pakistan. Mr. Shah said, those who ruled Kashmir for the past 70 years are advising the government to talk to Pakistan.  

Home Minister said, Assembly polls in J&K will be held with full



transparency after the Election Commission publishes the final voter list. The home minister reaffirmed that democracy has reached the grassroots under the leadership of PM Modi.

 

Mr. Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 240 development projects of about 2,000 crore rupees in Srinagar yesterday.

He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of several development projects worth crores of Rupees in Baramulla. 

Home Minister was on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
