Ministry of Human Resource Development is sending a high level fact finding team to Srinagar. The team will look into the incidents of clashes between students and police. The NIT Srinagar campus has been gripped by tension following clashes among students after the T20 World Cup last week.
Unrest was witnessed again yesterday with outstation students expressing a sense of insecurity and attempting to



leave the campus, leading to a confrontation with police which
resorted to lathicharge in which some were injured. CRPF was deployed in NIT campus of Srinagar on Tuesday night following widespread unrest and clashes among students. 
A group of students staged a protest march inside the campus last evening and Police claimed that students holding placards and banners tried to leave the campus.
