IMD alerts of heavy rains to lash few places in Telangana

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), in its special weather bulletin for Telangana State, has warned of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and heavy rains in isolated places from Sunday for three days. 

The rains will be returning to the State after a



brief lull due to a cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh and neighbourhood, 4.4 kms above mean sea level which is getting weak.

Meanwhile, major irrigation projects on Krishna, Godavari and their tributaries continued to receive flood waters as on Friday.
