IMD forecasts dense to very dense fog conditions over parts of northwest India during next 5 days

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense to very dense fog conditions during night and morning hours over parts of northwest India during next 5 days.

The IMD said that these conditions will continue over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh till tomorrow, and over Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh till Saturday. Dense to moderate fog will likely be present over Delhi and the adjoining National



Capital Region today.

The weather agency has also predicted heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall is expected over Kerala, Mahe and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today. Minimum temperatures over Maharashtra, Gujarat and Central India will gradually fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the next 4-5 days.
