India Meteorological Department has said that heat wave conditions are very likely to continue in isolated pockets of Saurashtra and Kutch during the next seven days and West Rajasthan during 5th to 8th of April. Heat wave conditions are also likely to continue over Gujarat region during 6th to 8th April and over East Rajasthan on 7th and 8th April. Met department said the maximum temperature is likely to increase over northwest India by 3 to 5 degrees
Celsius during the next seven days.
The weatherman has also predicted thunderstorms, lightning and hailstorms along with isolated heavy rainfall over many parts of South Peninsular India from today to 6th April. Moderate to intense thunderstorm along with lightning and hailstorm activity is also likely over central and adjoining north Peninsular India during next two days.
