IMD forecasts heat wave in parts of Central, Eastern India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave conditions in isolated pockets over East Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha during the next 4 days. The weather agency predicted heavy rainfall over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland,



Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today. 

Isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall expected over Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Tamilnadu Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 7 days.
