The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave conditions over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh during the next 2 days. Hot and humid weather is also very likely at isolated places over Marathwada, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam till tomorrow.

IMD forecasts heavy to very heavy rainfall over the northeast parts of the country during the next 3-4 days. IMD said that heavy rainfall is



likely in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till Wednesday. Heavy rainfall has been estimated over Kerala and Mahe today, and light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in Jammu-Kashmir. Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad.

The weather agency said that light to moderate rainfall is likely over the Western Himalayan Region till tomorrow, and hailstorms in Himachal Pradesh today.
