IMD forecasts heatwave in Rajasthan, Gujarat

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heat wave conditions over Rajasthan and Gujarat for the next two days. In Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and Coastal Karnatak, hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail today. In Assam and Meghalay, there is a forecast of heavy rainfall till



tomorrow. 

The weather agency forecast light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in North, Northeast and East India during the next 3 to 4 days. Similar conditions are expected over North and South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala and Mahe.
