IMD Forecasts Heatwave To Severe Heatwave Conditions In Many Parts Of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh

The India Meteorological Department has forecast heatwave to severe heatwave conditions in many parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and in isolated pockets of Delhi till Monday, while heatwave to severe heatwave conditions in West Uttar Pradesh during Sunday and Monday. In Konkan and Goa, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail today and



over Assam till tomorrow.

Meanwhile, conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon over some more parts of south Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andaman Sea and some parts of east central Bay of Bengal during next two days.
