IMD forecasts heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat during next four days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Maharashtra, Gujarat and south interior Karnataka during the next four days. 

IMD has forecast for heavy rainfall in South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat Region today.

 



   

The weather agency also predicted widespread light to moderate rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya for the next few days. It also said that conditions are favorable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two days.
