India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forcast heavy rainfall activity over East and adjoining central India during next two days. Heavy rainfall activity is likely over Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Sub-Himalaya, East Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim.

also forecast heavy rainfall activity over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh during next four days. It said, subdued rainfall activity is likely to continue over rest parts of the country during the next 4 to 5 days.
