The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast Light to moderate rainfall at most places over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad till today. 
 
The same rainfall has been estimated for Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh with gusty winds till today. 
 
IMD said that heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya  during the next five days.  
 
The weather agency said that heat wave conditions are very likely in Vidarbha during the next 3 days. IMD predicted hot and humid weather to prevail over Madhya Maharashtra today, and in Gujarat till



Wednesday.
 
Meanwhile, the weather in the national capital Delhi in its adjoining areas were recorded as normal this morning.
 
Due to the inclement Weather across the Union Territoriy of Ladakh, the Sringar -Sonamarg- Gumri Road is closed due to the snow accumulation at Zojila Pass today on the second consecutive day.
 
According to the Meteorological Department, there is possibility of light Snowfall and rains across the Zojila- Drass- Kargil Axis today. 
 
Traffic authorities have issued advisory for people to stay away from commuting on the National Highway connecting Kashmir Valley to Ladakh.
