IMD forecasts severe heat wave conditions over Rajasthan and Gujarat

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast a Heat wave at many places with severe Heat wave conditions over Rajasthan and Gujarat today. IMD has also forecast hot and humid conditions at isolated places over Kerala, Mahe, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Gujarat.

The met department has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated pockets of Bihar, Assam and Meghalaya. It said that Thundersquall accompanied with



lightning, gusty winds are expected over Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur. Similar conditions are expected over Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and South Interior Karnataka.

The weather agency also said that there will be a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-4 degree Celsius over Northwest India during the next three days.
