IMD forecasts thunderstorms across several states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds and lightning over West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Punjab, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Mahe. Places over Gujarat State and Interior Karnataka can experience hot and humid Conditions. Weather conditions in these areas are likely to remain the



same during the next 2-3 days. 

According to IMD, a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by about 2-3°C likely over Northwest India during the next 2 days and no significant change thereafter. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius with the minimum temperature at around 16 degrees Celsius.
