IMD forecasts thunderstorms, heavy rainfall in Central & Southern states

The India Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms with lightning today at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. The department has also predicted heavy rainfall at places over coastal Karnataka on the 31st of October and November 1st. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal,



Kerala, Mahe, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, and Lakshadweep are also likely to witness light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning during the next 3-4 days.IMD said no significant weather is likely over the rest of the country.
