IMD forecasts thunderstorms in Northeast, dense fog in Himachal Pradesh & Odisha

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya today. Pockets of Himachal Pradesh and Odisha are likely to experience dense fog conditions today. 

IMD said there will be no significant change in the minimum temperatures over



Northwest India today but the region can witness a gradual rise of minimum temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius during the coming 4 days. The weather office also informed that maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 3-5 degrees Celsius over north Peninsular and East India during the next 4-5 days.
