India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today. The weather department added that heavy rainfall is also expected over Kerala and Mahe today.
Further, the IMD has forecast dense fog conditions during early morning hours in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh for the next two to three days.
The IMD
has also predicted that the Western Himalayan region can witness a gradual fall by two to three degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. The met department added that the temperature over Central India, West Bengal and Odisha is likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius after three days.
The IMD has estimated no significant change in minimum temperatures over rest parts of the country during the next 5 days.
