New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted continuation of heavy to very heavy rainfall spell over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya today. It said Subdued rainfall activity is likely over rest parts of the country during next five days. IMD said, there is about 7 percent deficiency in monsoon rainfall since June 1 in the country mainly due to a prolonged weak monsoon conditions over the plains in the month of August. In July the country recorded 5 percent surplus of rainfall.
